We are seeking an experienced Unreal Engine/Gameplay Programmer to support our customers integrating our Mercuna middleware into their games and to lead on improving our Unreal integration. If you are passionate about advancing AI navigation software and working with AAA game studios, we want to hear from you!

Key Responsibilities:

  • Act as a bridge between our development team and game studios, providing technical support and insights to ensure successful implementation
  • Collaborate closely with AAA game developers to understand their requirements and tailor our C++ middleware solutions to enhance gameplay experiences.
  • Spearhead the integration of our cutting-edge AI navigation middleware into Unreal Engine.
  • Debug and optimize AI systems to ensure seamless integration with Unreal Engine while maintaining high performance standards.

Requirements:

  • 3+ years experience in Unreal Engine at a medium or large game studio, with expertise in AI or gameplay programming.
  • Strong programming skills in C++ and familiarity with Blueprint scripting.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Game Development, or a related field.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively engage with both internal development teams and external game studios.
  • Ability to adapt to evolving project requirements and tight development timelines.

  • Salary Range: £45,000 – £50,000
